Bartell Place

Welcome to

Bartell Place!

Homestead received the 2008 Award     for Excellence Medallion from the Kansas Preservation Alliance for the rehabilitation of the Bartell.

Opened in 1880 as the premier luxury hotel in Junction City, KS, the Bartell has undergone many changes  over the years. Slated for demolition in the late 90's , the old hotel was saved in 2008 by Homestead's rehabilitation and conversion of the building  into much needed senior housing.
